Each class is a one year course, starting from September to June the following year. Students are welcome to join the class throughout the course. Please contact us anytime if you are interested.

December 22, 2018 - January 7, 2019 (Winter Break)
March 23, 2019 - April 1, 2019 (Spring Break)
June 29, 2019 - September 2, 2019* (Summer Break *tentative)
Beginner 1 (Lower Beginner)
A class for complete beginners, will learn reading and writing Hiragana and Katakana, practice basic conversation using the textbook "Minna no Nihongo I." Taught in a large group of 20 to 25, conversation practices are done in smaller groups.
Beginner 2 (Upper Beginner)
Will build up vocabulary and expressions to improve one's necessary everyday conversation using "Minna no Nihongo II." Will practice conversations using honorific expressions, have group exercises to enhance communication skills. Easy Kanji will also be taught.
Will enrich vocabulary to be more expressive and to be able to carry on a natural conversation. Will improve hearing comprehension and practice conversation in various situations by listening to natural-speed Japanese on CDs.
Done in a small group for intermediate students and above.
Will discuss different topics, news, etc. and learn everyday expressions using various materials including manga. Will focus mainly on colloquial Japanese and learn useful verbs and adverbs.
